This is a great book about one of my very favourite comedians.

So this book was not quite what I expected, written by Billy's wife, Pamela Stephenson (who is also a comedian), it starts off with less of a bang than I would have thought. Pamela gives great insight into Billy's family history, his grandparents and parents lives before he was even thought of.

While not the laugh a minute I expected, it was nonetheless a very enjoyable read, gave a fantastic understanding of the man behind the laughs, and chronicles Billys journey through drink and drugs.

Don't get me wrong, there were still very funny moments in it, but it is definitely more of a serious biography than most would expect.

Definitely recommend it if your a fan of Billy Connolly at all!
